(Cue dramatic music.)Now, treadmills have their charm, but are they really the calorie-burning champs we believe them to be? Let’s discuss that. On a treadmill, strolling at a leisurely pace of 2 to 3 mph for 10 minutes, you’ll burn about 35 to 40 calories. But hold the phone!
Dive into high-intensity interval training, and you’re looking at torching 150 calories or more in the same time. Boom!Why HIIT the Treadmill? HIIT isn’t just about burning calories. It’s like the Swiss Army knife of workouts.

Just like hopping on a treadmill, we ease in with a light warm-up, then ride the wave through peaks and valleys of intensity. Each move is 45 seconds of pure grit, with a 15-second breather in between.
Simple math, right? Whether you’re just starting out or a seasoned pro, it’s your intensity that sets the challenge. Take things at your own pace. It’s less about counting reps and more about perfecting them. If you feel like a noodle midway, just slow it down.
Save your breath for those precious 15-second breaks.Let’s Get Moving! First up, high knee runs. Knees to elbows, folks. 45 seconds on the clock.

Now, switching lunges. It’s plyo time! Can’t jump? Walk it out. Hands up, core tight.
(Upbeat music.) Catch your breath. Push-up side to side. Not ready for full push-ups? Use an elevated surface.
10 seconds left, you got this! (Upbeat music.)Already dripping? Good, because we aren’t done yet. Jumping jacks are up next.
